Paola Minekov Paola Minekov was born in 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1998 she graduated from Secondary Artistic School of Fine Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria. In the period of 1999-2000 she studied Fine Art at Avni Institute of Art, Tel Aviv, Israel. In 2005 she graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam, Netherlands. My themes are always derived from everyday experiences and impressions. Inmy paintings I explore topics like movement, energy, contrast and the mystery of emotions. I am interested in how they interconnect into body language as the true expression of the individual."
